Consent

By using any of our products, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

By using any of our products, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

Information we collect

When you create an account we ask you to provide your email address. We request this as way of maintaining the security of your account.

You may provide additional identifying information including your full name. This is not required. If provided, this information allows us to personalise your experience.

Our products integrate with a number of third party services including Strava, Polar, and Garmin. These third party services will ask your permission prior to sharing any of your information with us. This information may include your name, email address, and details of any activities uploaded to those platforms. This information is collected by those third parties subject to their own privacy policies.

Our products allow you to share personally identifying information with your connections and/or publicly. This is subject to your privacy settings, and by default no personally identifying information is visible by anyone other than yourself.

Any personal information that we collect from you directly or indirectly (from a third party) can be modified or removed by you at any time through the appropriate interface. Please contact us at privacy@running.org if you would like help editing/removing your personal information from our products or if you would like us to to provide details of the information that we hold about you.

We only retain information required for the continued functioning of our products, and any information that is no long necessary is automatically deleted.

Cookies

When you use our web based products a cookie will be stored on your computer. Cookies work by assigning to your computer a unique number that allows us to identifiy it. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. We use cookies solely to identify the authenticated user such that you do not have to login on each page. Log Files

Our products log data about the clients connecting to them. These log files store details including your IP address, browser type, referring web pages, and the date/time. These files are only ever used to identify/debug product issues, and are automatically deleted on a regular schedule.

Analytics Services

We use both Google Analytics, and Google Firebase to allow us to analyse how our products are used.
